Math
Review carefully for the algebra test tomorrow. Weekend post had a breakdown of the test and sample questions. Make sure you know how to do the questions on the two handouts as well as using expressions to solve problems and finding the different values of variables using a chart.

We will continue with fractions on Monday. Please review concepts using the blog. The understanding of fractions varies considerably in the class. Some of very comfortable working with fractions, while others find them confusing.

Social Studies
Grade fours are working really hard and learning many things about Ancient Greece, Ancient Egypt, Ancient China and Medieval Times. You should have at least 3 sub-topics done.

Grade fives worked today on asking and answering questions about the First Nations model they are going to make next week. YOU MUST HAVE YOUR MATERIAL AT SCHOOL FOR MONDAY. We have no other time to complete this wonderful activity. You must try to construct your model(s) / artifacts using items from the natural environment.

Writing
Feel free to type your story at home and save it on a memory stick. Several people have uploaded to the one-drive. It will save you time!
