Grade 5: Today we talked about information that was carved in petroglyphs. What are petroglyphs? Where in Ontario would you find Petroglyph Provincial Park? What is happening to some of the petroglyphs?
Think about First Nations artifact or model that you would like to create using materials in the environment. Possibilities:
longhouse, wigwam, tools, snowshoe, lacrosse stick, dream catcher.....
Grade 4: We discussed slaves in Ancient Rome and Judea and the basic rights every child. Which of these rights do you think a slave did not have?
Mind maps are due FRIDAY.
Think about an early society that you would like to research. Possibilities:
Ancient Egypt, Ancient China, Ancient Greece, Mayans, Aztecs, Incas, Persia, Indus Valley, Mesopotamia....
