Math
Everyone completed their pictograph quiz. We will review the quiz tomorrow. Most students did quite well. Congratulations!
Please make sure you finish your homework on mode, median and stem and leaf plots. We will have a quiz on Friday on these topics. From today's lesson you should have learned the practical application of mode and median when comparing two sets of data. For the example with the Garter and Milk snakes, the snake with the higher median probably is the one with the greater length. If you had two cities one with a median temperature of 12 degrees and another with a median of 17 degrees, which one would you say is a warmer city?

Quiz on subtraction facts tomorrow.

What a wonderful presentation and hip-hop workshop we had this today. Both the music and message were uplifting.
