Math
Continue to practice adding and subtracting decimal tenths on a number line. Remember our three definitions of subtraction:
  • take away
  • difference (how much more or less)
  • adding up
Being able to add up is very important to finding change.

What would be the change from $1.00? Use mental math.

Today we talked about how to form plurals of nouns.
Rule 1: Add s
Rule 2: Change "y" to "i" and add "es" to nouns that end in consonant + y
Rule 3: Add es to nouns that end in s, x, z, ch, sh
