Today we performed reflections or flips of blocks, points and shapes across a line of reflection. Remember to reflect each point/vertex in a shape (count many dots/boxes it is away from the line of reflection, then connect the dots. You will have Miras at school to check. Finish your reflection sheet.

Social Studies
Today we learned some shocking discoveries about the roles of men, women and children in Ancient Rome. Everyone was property of the oldest male and could be sold into slavery! Roles were very defined in both early societies.

In grade five, we learned a bit about the grandfather teachings and spirituality in the First Nations Communities. What similarities and differences did you find between our faith and the spiritual beliefs of the First Nations communities?

The bleachers are metal, so perhaps something to sit on. Please dress for the weather. If it's cool, bring a sweatshirt. Check the Board website if the weather is questionable (raining / chance of thunderstorm)
