Most students just need to finish up a few more questions on the test. Remember to use the anchor charts posted in class the answer questions completely.

Writing
We will be working on revising our persuasive letters tomorrow. Make sure you use some of the persuasive techniques we discussed in class the EXPLAIN your reasons. Be creative with your explanations.

Math
Today we conducted an investigation about rolling a 5 or not rolling a 5. Were you surprised by our class results? Which happened more often? Tomorrow we will be constructing broken line graphs. The rest of the week we will be gathering data. We will construct the graphs from the data in the new year.

Assignments
Some of you have finished all your assignments. It is important that you follow success criteria when designing a poster. Certain information must be included on your poster. Please make sure you have the correct information about your chosen nutrient. Research using reliable websites the role of the nutrient in your body and what happens when you do not have enough of that nutrient.

Reminders:

• SECRET SANTA on Wednesday. Make sure your gift is prepared. Remember to spend no more that $10.00 or make a special gift.
• Bring in your baby food jar for Thursday. If you have an extra at home, please bring them in! For those parents who are available, we will be completing our craft on Thursday morning.
• Skating is on FRIDAY. We will be leaving the school at 11:45 am. We are on the ice at 12:30 pm. Any parents that can meet us at KINSMEN at 12:00 to help with skates we'd appreciate your help. If you'd like to stay and skate you are more than welcome. Remember you must have a helmet to skate. We have several students who do not have skates. If you have an extra pair around the garage, let me know. We need a size 4.
